First of all, big thanks to all who put together a great paintball season!
Here are some thoughts on making next season even better:
1. We are all very busy, but how about starting the first game at 8 am and ending around noon? This would free up Saturday afternoon for all those other tasks and responsibilities in our lives.
2. Make barrel plugs/socks mandatory when off the field. Fortunately no one has been hurt, but three times today I had a barrel pointed at my face in the "safety area” with my mask off. The loss of an eye due to an accidental discharge would be the quickest way to shut down this ministry besides permanently changing someone’s life for the worse. This would also help teach the younger players proper marker handling and the responsibility that comes with the use of these potentially dangerous devices.

Well Bruce, here is my take
Well Bruce, here is my take on things.
The start time for this game was pushed back to 10:00 for 2 reasons,
1. We needed the extra time to get the field ready, and it was real cold.
2. We usually start at 9:00am for the following reasons. Since we have normally been playing at someone private property it gives the family time in the morning to get them selves together and as a courtesy to the neighbors.
The barrel plug thing you are right. Unfortunately we don’t always see what is going on but if you see someone with out a plug, go ahead and say something to that person.
